Undergoing a major transformation, the landmark now features a mix of restaurants, retail and condominiums.

Slated to open later this year, the restaurant will occupy 6,500 square feet at One Dupont Circle. The first of several planned for the D.C. On May 11th, Wahlburgers, the popular burger restaurant founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie, will launch a new menu showcasing its chef-inspired dishes and introducing new offerings including both hearty and lighter fare. The menu, which has a new graphic format, highlights the brand’s distinctive housemade offerings, commitment to quality ingredients and varied selection. Guests will find new options including Chef Paul’s unique spin on hearty Wahlberg family favorites like Mom’s Sloppy Joe and Mac ‘n Cheese with Smoked Bacon, in addition to Chopped Salad Bowls, a lighter alternative consisting of a burger or sandwich without the bun tossed with fresh mixed greens. Also new are seasonal selections such as the Strawberry Rhubarb Salad the Surf ’N Turf Burger.

Wahlburgers, the better burger restaurant founded by Chef Paul Wahlberg with celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie, has announced franchise deals with five new franchise groups to open over 30 stores in several major metro markets in Massachusetts, California, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina. Seven restaurants are currently open, with three more slated within the next few months in Boston’s Logan Airport, Las Vegas and Philadelphia.
