Nantucket’s Legendary LoLa Burger comes to the Mainland

NANTUCKET– November 14, 2019 - Restaurateur Marco Coelho and Team Hospitality announced today that they’ve expanded their popular ACK-based LoLa brand to two new locations.  LoLa Burger opened in Boston’s Seaport District on November 14^th and will be followed by the debut of LoLa 41 in Palm Beach, FL.  Coelho and team currently own and operate the flagship LoLa 41 and LoLa Burger on Nantucket as well as LoLa 42 at Twenty Two Liberty in Boston.

Buzz worthy on Nantucket for its chill vibe and succulent burgers, LoLa Burger sets up shop in Boston’s Seaport District with an enticing menu of big juicy burgers with mix and match toppings. Guests can customize their burgers with a wide array of sauces and cheeses, and tasty extras such as applewood smoked bacon, fried organic egg, avocado, red onion compote, sunomono, and more. 

The LoLa Burger, a favorite at sister restaurants LoLa 41 and 42, is an 8 oz. hand-packed Certified Angus Beef patty served on an oversized English muffin. Topped with aged cheddar and red onion compote, this signature burger is served with foie gras gravy that doubles as a delectable dipping sauce for a side of fries. Other choices include the Classic Burger, a 5 0z. beef patty with lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickles and American cheese; the Lamb Burger topped with creamy feta, spicy harissa and arugula; and the Wagyu Hot Dog with yellow mustard, relish, and chopped onion served on a buttery toasted bun. Vegan and vegetarian options include the LoLa Vegan, a Beyond Burger topped with cheddar cheese, red onion compote, and chipotle sauce; and Falafel that can be ordered as a sandwich on a brioche bun with a creamy cucumber yogurt sauce or as a zesty complement to the Iceberg Wedge Salad with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion and a choice of four house-made dressings.   All sandwiches can be ordered on a gluten free bun.

Styled in a vintage burger joint motif, the 73-seat LoLa Burger offers 24-oz. ice cream shakes in black & white, vanilla bean, strawberry, pomegranate, mint and coffee, in addition to a wide selection of craft brews and a well-curated wine list. LoLa 41 Palm Beach to bring a fresh bold scene to historic Palm Beach.

Later this year, LoLa 41’s highly anticipated opening will bring a fresh bold scene to historic Palm Beach. Located on the corner of Sunset Avenue and Bradley Park, LoLa 41 will be the signature restaurant for the White Elephant Palm Beach, a luxury boutique hotel slated to open in early 2020. Sharing their origins on Nantucket, the landmark hotel and popular restaurant will bring a winning combination of old-school glamour and sizzling sex appeal to one of the toniest sections of South Florida.
