Hot Air Balloons Soar in Stowe This Summer

29th Annual Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival Takes Flight July 10-12

WHAT: One of the most memorable times to visit the resort is the three-day Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival when more than 25 hot air balloons soar through sky. Live entertainment, a children’s corner featuring a variety of activities, and a beer and wine garden add to the one-of-a-kind Vermont experience.

 

The tentative schedule for this year’s festival includes:

Friday

4:00 p.m. - Gates Open

     Children's Activities Begin – crafts, games, face painting and more

     Food, Beer, Wine Tent Opens

     Gift Shop Opens

     Spa Tent Open for Chair Massages & Facials - $2/minute

5:00 p.m. - Live Music Begins – The Thirsty Brothers

7:00 p.m. - Approximate time for Sunset Launch

 

Saturday

6:30 a.m. - Approximate time for Sunrise Launch

4:00 p.m. - Gates Open
