Boston Spring Festival Kicks Off the Season April 8th and 9th At the Seaport World Trade Center

New Event Showcases Over 250 Artisans, Craftspeople, and Purveyors of Specialty Foods

(Boston, MA) March 2, 2017 –The Boston Spring Festival kicks off the season and promises to banish the winter blues with a dazzling display from over 250 premier artisans, master craftspeople, and purveyors of specialty foods on Saturday and Sunday, April 8th and 9th, at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center.  Festival-goers will delight as they refresh for warmer weather with distinctive home décor, update a closet with fashionable finds, or tempt their taste buds with an assortment of delicious and one-of-a-kind foods.  With Easter, Mother’s Day, weddings, and more on the horizon, the Festival makes gift giving a breeze with a wide variety of unique, fun, and hard-to-find items for purchase in every price range.  Additionally, visitors will be able to meet the artisans, discuss their work, and commission custom pieces.

Festival hours are Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $12/person and available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/boston-spring-festival-tickets-32086016138.  Public transportation is available via the Silver Line from South Station to the World Trade Center Station.  For driving directions, set the GPS to: 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA.  Several parking lots are located conveniently nearby. 

The Boston Spring Festival is presented by Boston-based Artisans Festivals, Inc., co-producer of the popular Boston Christmas Festival, which will celebrate its 31st anniversary in November.  “Shoppers and exhibitors alike have been begging us to have a spring show for years,” said event producer Florence Flynn.  “Finally, the time seemed right.  Based on the enthusiasm and the large number of exhibitors on board – both old friends and new – we’re confident that it’s going to be a tremendous success!”
