Dear Friends,

It’s fall. And yes, I’m a creature of habit. The change of seasons has inspired me to write an agency newsletter. Do I wish I could be more disciplined, producing issues of this newsletter for you at greater frequency? Of course! But since I often use “the cobbler’s children have no shoes” analogy, I won’t make that excuse again.

We had a lot of fun this spring and summer at CM Communications, and fall is shaping up to be equally exciting.  Clients that recently opened new establishments are earning accolades and enjoying early success.

The newly renovated Harbor Hotel Provincetown was named “Best Boutique Hotel on Cape Cod,” by Boston Magazine, Sabatino&Co Roma struck a deal with ShopNBC to launch Skin&Co's innovative truffle line of skin care products, and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House quickly became the hot-spot for dining and socializing on Boston’s Liberty Wharf. New projects in the pipeline include assisting the Wahlberg brothers with the grand opening of Wahlburgers, a Boston meets Hollywood burger joint at The Hingham Shipyard, and joining forces with Coventry Hotel Group to provide PR counsel for Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort set amidst the breathtaking mountains of Utah. Closer to home, we’re watching with wonder as the Rhode Island Sewing Network creates the world’s biggest sock, slated to be certified by Guinness in December. Sponsored by Ocean State Job Lot, this admirable effort brings visibility to Project Undercover, a local non-profit that raises funds to purchase socks, diapers, and other undergarments for children in need. Just between us, we’re hoping to soon represent the possessor of the world’s biggest foot!

As you can tell, we
relish our role as master communicators spreading the word about our clients through integrated marketing programs. As media continues to evolve and diversify, we are combining traditional and digital PR with social media marketing strategies to deliver maximum results. Nothing beats this dynamic duo for reaching new audiences through print, broadcast and digital media, while engaging customers through popular social media platforms in more personal, honest and meaningful ways. 

Finally, while I have your attention, you can help me solve my current
modern day dilemma. Now that Apple has delayed the launch of the iPhone 5,
do I upgrade my 3GS to a 4S or do I hold off and wait? Opinions welcome!
